22 February 1977 – Tuesday
Letter from Adrian Kinney from Dublin this morning. We decided to try to take Susanna to play-school even though she is still not well. I went on tube to Trafalgar Square then to Foyles Book Store. Alice did the laundry. We went to Finchley Road and Alice bought a hairdryer while I picked up Susanna. Another quiet evening.

Dropping off a sick kid at play-school is a completely an alien thought to my pandemic addled brain. I can't even imagine that happening now.
